Deterministic Battle Engine · v1.8.9
Deku fights at a level Tanjiro Kamado has to reach up to, and the gap shows in every exchange. Both fighters have a way to end the fight, so it comes down to who lands it first. Both can end this and neither is harder to put down — a true stalemate, decided by who moves first. Deku wins it clearly.
The tables below show every check behind this, with the numbers the engine used.
| Fighter | Bracket |
|---|---|
| Tanjiro Kamado | 4 |
| Deku | 6 |
Gap of 2. Awards 110 points to Deku.
| Check | Tanjiro Kamado | Deku |
|---|---|---|
| Kill | PASS reach 5 vs Deku's 0 | PASS reach 5 vs Tanjiro Kamado's 0 |
| Contain | FAILED no containment method | FAILED no containment method |
A kill lands only when the attacker's reach meets or beats the defender's resistance. Containment must clear two bars: it has to out-reach the opponent's escape and reach 8 to hold permanently — below that it is a temporary hold that lapses. A fighter who fails both cannot end the fight, however much damage they do — which is how an outmatched fighter can still force a stalemate.
| Fighter | Has a usable offensive route |
|---|---|
| Tanjiro Kamado | YES |
| Deku | YES |
This checks only whether a fighter can meaningfully attack at all. It is tested before the win conditions above — so a fighter can pass here and still have no way to finish the opponent.
| Both fighters have a valid win condition — scale decides who lands it first |
| Both can finish and both are equally hard to put down — whoever moves first wins |
| Both can end this and neither is harder to put down — a true stalemate, decided by who moves first |
Tanjiro Kamado 40 · Deku 130 — margin +90, graded clear. Points accumulate from the checks above. The engine resolves the fight; the AI only narrates the result it reached.
Morals make no difference to this one — it resolves exactly as above.
