Battle Beast comes in with everything — his mace crashes down in bone-crushing arcs, each swing landing with the force of a wrecking ball, and his speed keeps him inside Thragg's guard where the bigger fighter's reach advantage means nothing. He absorbs Thragg's early counters through sheer pain tolerance, grinning through torn skin and cracked ribs, his martial discipline finding angles that pure power would miss. For a long stretch this looks like a slaughter in the wrong direction — Battle Beast is faster in bursts, his utility arsenal cycling between close-range strikes and disorienting feints, and Thragg is bleeding from a dozen places, his confidence beginning to cost him as he underestimates just how long this warrior can stay dangerous.
But the fight's own duration becomes the deciding variable. Thragg's invulnerability runs deeper in the tissue — his Viltrumite biology regenerates damage that would compound fatally in Battle Beast's frame, and every exchange where both fighters absorb equivalent punishment actually favours Thragg, whose durability ceiling simply sits higher. Battle Beast's blows remain devastating but they stop being conclusive — the mace connects, Thragg staggers, and then Thragg is back, slightly less winded than Battle Beast expected, while Battle Beast's own frame is accumulating structural damage that his pain tolerance can hide but cannot reverse. Thragg starts to read it in the way Beast's footwork tightens, the microseconds of hesitation between combos.
Thragg locks him — one hand seizing the wrist behind the mace, the other driving in low, forcing the clinch where Battle Beast's arsenal loses its geometry. Beast fights the grip with everything left in him, but the leverage is gone and Thragg's strength at that margin is the difference between walking out and not. He doesn't let go. He keeps pressing, methodical and silent, until Battle Beast's resistance becomes stillness.
WINNER: Thragg REASON: Thragg's superior invulnerability and regenerative depth outlast Battle Beast's durability ceiling, giving Thragg the only valid kill condition in a fight where both fighters absorb enormous damage.
