Who would win?
On raw power these two are on the same level. The problem for Deku is finishing it: Sukuna heals from almost anything Deku can hit him with. Sukuna has the answer Deku doesn't. His domain, Malevolent Shrine, keeps cutting everything inside it without needing to be aimed, and One For All wears Deku's body down the longer it goes.
Izuku Midoriya, the hero of My Hero Academia. Born without powers, he inherited One For All, a stockpiled quirk so strong it can break his own body.
Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses in Jujutsu Kaisen, in his original four-armed body from the Heian era, when he was at his strongest. His domain is Malevolent Shrine.
For the stat fans: every check the engine ran, fighting in character and with no holding back (engine v1.8.18).
Nothing separates these two on raw power — they stand at the same tier, so scale decides nothing here. Only Sukuna can put Deku down. Deku has no route that works here — everything available is either stopped or survivable, so Deku cannot close the fight out. Only Sukuna has a valid win condition (a kill, a hold or a shutdown) — Deku cannot end the fight. Sukuna wins comfortably — there is no real argument in the other direction.
The tables below show every check behind this, with the numbers the engine used.
| Fighter | Bracket |
|---|---|
| Deku | 6 |
| Sukuna | 6 |
Gap of 0. No scoring edge.
| Axis | Attacker | vs defence | Points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strength | Deku (8) | Sukuna 5 | +15 |
| Energy | Sukuna (10) | Deku 5 (UNDEFENDED x1.5) | +45 |
| Type | Interaction | Points |
|---|---|---|
| regen | Sukuna's regeneration denies Deku a clean win by attrition (survival, not offense) | — |
Soft counter: reduces an ability's effectiveness without nullifying it. Hard counter: the ability does not function against this opponent at all.
| Check | Deku | Sukuna |
|---|---|---|
| Kill | FAILED reach 5, needs 7 | PASS reach 7 vs Deku's 0 |
| Contain | FAILED no containment method | FAILED reach 6 — a temporary hold, needs 8 to be permanent |
A kill lands only when the attacker's reach meets or beats the defender's resistance. Containment must clear two bars: it has to out-reach the opponent's escape and reach 8 to hold permanently — below that it is a temporary hold that lapses. A fighter who fails both cannot end the fight, however much damage they do — which is how an outmatched fighter can still force a stalemate.
| Fighter | Has a usable offensive route |
|---|---|
| Deku | YES |
| Sukuna | YES |
This checks only whether a fighter can meaningfully attack at all. It is tested before the win conditions above — so a fighter can pass here and still have no way to finish the opponent.
| Deku has no rating for resisting being knocked out or shut down, so it is read from their tier as 3 rather than as none (incap resistance 0 -> 3) |
| Sukuna's domain delivers a sustained lethal payload — the cutting attack lands repeatedly while the domain stands, rather than needing to be aimed. The domain is how the attack is delivered, not a second weapon — it does not hit harder because it is a domain |

The largest awards, not a full ledger — bracket gap, attribute clash and counter points are listed in their own sections above.
Deku 0 · Sukuna 195 — margin +195, graded clear. Points accumulate from the checks above. The engine resolves the fight; the AI only narrates the result it reached.
Morals make no difference to this one — it resolves exactly as above.
