Every change the engine has had, in plain English. When a rating is wrong we say so, change it, and write down what changed — because a battle engine nobody can check is just an opinion with extra steps.
Ratings that were wrong, and what they are now. Newest first.
His strength and hide were rated far below what he shows. Bracket and durability were already right.
His healing factor and adamantium claws now work the way they should. Healing was rated 3 — the same as a broken arm mending overnight.
The vibranium suit and his skill as a fighter now count. He had been rated as an unaugmented man with light armour.
The super-soldier serum finally counts for something. He was rated as an ordinary man with a shield that did nothing.
Rated properly at last — the strength and toughness he shows on screen were badly undersold.
Rated properly at last. He lifts and hits far harder than the sheet said, and his spider-sense now actually helps him.
Given his own rank above every fighter and below the author-figures. He is not a stronger version of the beings below him — he is what their universe sits inside.
Moved down. He had been ranked above both peak Gojo and Sukuna, but his wins needed help — and he lost the straight exchange with Ryu.
A weakness was removed that described his need to stay silent day to day, not anything an opponent could use against him in a fight.
Given a way to end a fight, and no longer treated as running out of energy. He sustained a pocket universe for years.
Given a real route to victory and the intellect of someone who ruled Hell for ten billion years. Moved from 19th to 9th.
Corrected to Stone Breathing. He does not use Sun Breathing, and the canon kill he is credited with took four Hashira.
Sun Breathing restored after it was removed in error — it is the one thing that stops a demon regenerating.
Strength raised to match his standing. He is the Grand Regent and the strongest Viltrumite alive, but sat one point above a flat field where Conquest, Allen, Invincible and Omni-Man were identical — so he could not finish another Viltrumite, in a story ab
Moved to the bracket his own data already described. Top-tier persistence, conceptual erasure and eight abilities were sitting two brackets below the fighters they belong with — he was losing to base Superman while beating Thanos with the Infinity Gauntle
Made as hard to put down as his feats show. Superman needed to fly through a chain of suns across dimensions to knock him down, and he survived it — but he was rated less durable than a God of Destruction and was losing to one.
Bracket corrected from 12 to 9. Judged on demonstrated feats: he has four appearances, no combat showings, and his power is asserted by other characters rather than shown. Ruling Celestials is not a feat when Celestials get killed on panel.
Given a finisher. Smashing a flawed reality to dust so its material can be reused is unmaking as routine work, but he had only reality-warping — which every peer at his tier contests.
Given a finisher. He drains rather than erases, but damaging the Thought Robot beyond repair and draining two abstracts at once is a permanent end by any reading — and the engine said he could not end a fight at all.
Split from base Molecule Man. One entry was standing in for both the molecular manipulator and the Secret Wars battery holding an entire dead race's power — they are not the same fighter and should not share a sheet.
Moved up to sit level with Perpetua. This is the form that absorbed nearly all the crisis energy in creation and beat her — it should not be a bracket below her.
Given the erasure she demonstrably performs — she unmade 52 universes one by one, but had only reality-warping on her sheet, which every peer at her tier contests.
Bracket corrected from 13 to 11 and given the erasure she actually demonstrates. Her sources claim absolute immunity and omnipresence; what she has shown is erasing the strongest being in her own cosmology, which is a universe-scale feat, not a limitless
Bracket corrected from 13 to 9. Judged on demonstrated feats: he has never acted deliberately in any story. Still impossible to erase, but he cannot end a fight either.
His mid-fight adaptation is now modelled. Against a peer in a long fight he grows whatever it takes to reach them — but anyone who out-tiers him, out-reaches him, or can erase him still wins clean.
Moved up to the heavyweight bracket and given the durability his feats show. He was sitting below characters who cannot hurt him, and losing on tier alone.
Stamina timers now count. When neither fighter can land a finish, a hard clock decides it — Ultra Instinct cannot be sustained, so opponents who can absorb the output and keep going now take those fights.
His power is borrowed rather than his own, and the engine now models that — against anyone able to withdraw it, he loses the lot.
Mapped from his real feats — restraining Superman and Doomsday, surviving 3,000 years shattered, kaiju-scale mass, immunity to Martian Manhunter. He had no way to win a fight and a durability weakness he demonstrably does not have.
Added regeneration — reforming after being shattered is his defining trait and he had no tag for it
Added reality-warping and the Phoenix ward — he was the only Phoenix form without them, so cosmic opponents could unmake him unopposed
Removed reality-warping — his warping is uncontrolled and molecular, not a deliberate win vector
Bracket corrected 3 to 2 — feats are wall to small-building, not city level

The flag button under every result is the most useful thing on this site. You do not need to explain yourself — “Naruto’s faster than that” was enough to find a character with no speed rating at all. Sign in first and we will credit you here by name.
