Update: six new characters, energy attacks fixed, and your flags answered ⚡

Big update today, and a lot of it came straight from your requests and flags. Here’s what’s new:

🆕 Six new characters, all from the request page

Naoya Zenin (Cursed Spirit): Naoya at his strongest, the cursed spirit at Sakurajima, with jet-driven Projection Sorcery. His domain isn’t rated yet: we’d rather leave it out than get it wrong.

Reggie Star: the Culling Game player who burns receipts to recreate whatever’s written on them.

Steve (Minecraft): Java survival Steve with a netherite endgame kit, a mace and End Crystals. No creative mode, no respawns.

Herobrine (Animation Life): the Herobrine from the Animation Life fan films. He’s fan-made, so he’s labelled that way.

💥 Energy attacks can finish fights now
This was a big one. Until today, beams and blasts like the Getsuga Tensho, Chaos powers or the Power Cosmic couldn’t end a fight against a tough fighter, while a hard enough punch could. That never made sense, and you were right to flag it. Energy attacks that are strong enough now finish fights on the same terms as physical strength. About 2,300 matchups changed, and the rankings have been rebuilt:

🧊 Iceman’s ratings fixed
Iceman is now based on his Krakoa-era Omega version. We removed his telekinesis and teleportation ratings, because the fight evidence doesn’t support them as rated. A few of his other ratings are still being checked.

🚩 Your flags
Five flags on the fixes page have been updated with what changed: Ichigo v Naruto, Rimuru v Goku, Fused Zamasu v Rimuru, Freddy v Pennywise and Goku v Iceman. Ichigo v Naruto is now marked resolved. Ichigo wins, just like the person who flagged it said he should.

⏳ Coming soon: Toge, Takaba and Percy Jackson
All three are researched, but they need new engine rules before they’d fight the way they do in canon:

Toge: his commands need to be heard, and they cost his throat.
Takaba: almost unkillable, but he won’t kill.
Percy: the Curse of Achilles and his weak spot.

They’re marked “researching” on the request page, so you can see where they stand:
