Update 5th September
Update — 5 September
The big one: a lot of characters couldn't be killed by things that should kill them.
If a character was "tough but killable" — the T-800, Ulquiorra, Malenia, Optimus, Battle Beast — the engine was ignoring that entirely for anyone above street level. Thirty characters had a properly researched weakness that did nothing at all. That's fixed, and it changes a lot of fights.
Weapons now hurt durable opponents. A rifle could kill an ordinary person but couldn't scratch anything sturdier. RoboCop now beats the T-800, which is what several people said should happen.
Sanji was badly under-rated. Every single thing on his sheet was a 4 or a 5 — for a character whose unguarded neck breaks Queen's sword. He's been rebuilt with thirteen abilities and moved up a bracket.
Also rebuilt: Kratos (Greek), Gandalf, Eren Yeager, Tails and the Lord of Nightmares. Gandalf's body dying and his spirit returning is now actually on his sheet.
Fourteen more characters given a real weakness — Geralt, Cloud, Malenia, Neo, RoboCop, Shredder, Leonardo, Donatello, Spock, Ezio, Shadow, Knuckles, Mob and Cu Chulainn.
Anubis has been rebuilt. The old version wasn't any particular Anubis — the myth, the game and the anime are completely different characters, and the sheet was a mix of all three.
On Scarlet Witch and the Lord of Nightmares: both were flagged, both were checked properly, and both came back the same way. Being described as immensely powerful isn't the same as being shown doing it. Wanda has never actually killed anyone at that tier, and the Lord of Nightmares' big feat was beating a demon in her own setting — impressive there, not the same as beating a Monitor. Ratings follow what's on the page.
Keep flagging. Two of today's biggest fixes came directly from flags, including one that had been sitting open for weeks.
